On
July 14, 2010 the Brothers of Rho Phi chapter participated in the Empowering
Males to Build Opportunities to Develop Independence (EMBODI) program during the
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc's 50th National Convention, held in New Orleans,
LA.
The EMBODI program is designed to focus on the plight of
African-American males. Pictures below are from the workshop held at Dillard
University where the brothers spoke to the young men about the issues they face
as young African-American males and showed them how to
correctly put a knot in a tie, among other things.
