Ω Christmas Gift Giving On December 19, 2011 Rho Phi Chapter, in conjunction with Abide Home Care, Lace the Grand Ballroom, Budweiser, Sheriff Marlin Gusman and Orleans Parish Prison, Capital One Bank, St. John the Baptist Parish President Natalie Robottom, and U.S. Foods to distribute 165 bikes and over 300 toys to needy families in the New Orleans Area.

Ω Books For Bikes Program/McDonough 32 Elementary On December 16, 2011 the Brothers of Rho Phi Chapter held the Books For Bikes program at McDonough 32 elementary school. This program awards boys and girls in the 4th, 5th and 6th grades who have read the most books during the contest with bikes

Ω Real Men Read/McDonough 32 Elementary School Session Two On December 7, 2011 the Brothers of Rho Phi Chapter conducted our second session of the Real Men Read program at McDonough 32 elementary school.

Ω Real Men Read/McDonough 32 Elementary School Session One On November 2, 2011 the Brothers of Rho Phi Chapter continued our Real Men Read program. This year we partnered with McDonough 32 elementary school to read to the students and emphasis the importance of having good reading skills.

Ω Omegas of Greater New Orleans Founders Day Centennial Celebration On November 17, 2011 the brothers celebrated the 100 Anniversary of our beloved fraternity with a block party held at Rho Phi's Fraternity House

Ω New Orleans Coalition Achievement Week Banquet On November 12, 2011 the 5 chapters that comprise the New Orleans Coalition held their annual Achievement Week Banquet at the Jefferson South Banquet Hall

Ω Greater Gentilly High School Career Day Program On May 12, 2011 the brothers conducted a career day session with the young men at Greater Gentilly High School. This session featured brothers from the chapter speaking to the young men about their careers and gave them advise on what they should do to make that career choice

Ω College Scholarship Fund Raiser The Brothers of Rho Phi continued our annual college scholarship fund raising effort by working at the New Orleans Jazz Festival. The festival runs from April 29,30 and May 1,5,6,7,8, 2011 and the brothers work at several gates as ticket collectors.

Ω Annual Childrens Ward Visit On April 23, 2011 the brothers of Rho Phi continued a tradition of visiting Children's Ward at local hospitals the day before Easter to giving hospitalized kids Easter Baskets and Children Bible Stories books. The hospitals visited include: Tulane, Oschner and West Jefferson. Brothers also brought items to two local Battered Women's Centers

Ω Greater Gentilly High School Stay In School Program On March 31, 2011 the brothers conducted a Stay in School session with the young men at Greater Gentilly High School. This session began with the students viewing a short video call "Bring Your A Game", which stressed the importance of staying in school and getting a good education. The program included a question and answer session that rewarded the students with a tasty snack when they answered questions about topics mentioned in the video.

Ω Memorial Service On March 27, 2011 the Brothers of Rho Phi Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity held their annual Memorial Service. This mandated program is conducted every year to recall the memory of those Brothers who have entered Omega Chapter during the year.The service was held at First Zion Baptist Church at their 11:00 am service.

Ω Quette/Memorial Service Breakfast On March 26, 2011 Rho Phi Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity held its Quette/Memorial Service Breakfast. The event honored six widows of deceased brothers: Mrs. Ethel G. Coleman-wife of the late Brother Reed Ellis Coleman; Mrs. Barbara H. Elloie-wife of the late Brother Henry Elloie; Mrs. Shirley M. Grady-wife of the late Brother Marshall Grady; Mrs. Alice Marie Hackett-wife of the late Brother Herbert Hackett; Mrs. Amy P. Harris-wif of the late Brother Cleveland Harris, Mrs. Margaret Stevens-wife of the late Brother Samuel W. Stevens; Mrs. Lorraine G. Williams-wife of the late Brother Harold J. Williams; and (not in attendance) Mrs. Marie Augillard-wife of the late Brother George Augillard.

Ω Talent Hunt Program On March 11, 2011 Rho Phi and Gamma Rho Chapters of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity held their annual Talent Hunt Contest. There were 14 students from the various high schools in the Greater New Orleans area competed for the right to represent each chapter at the 74th Ninth District Meeting's Talent Hunt program that will be held in Monroe, LA.

Ω Greater Gentilly High School Mentoring Program as a part of Rho Phi Chapter's committment to impact the lives of the citizens of our community, we have partnered with Greater Gentilly High School to participate in programs that focus on the young men at the school. The first meeting was held on February 24, 2011. The goal was to have brothers from the chapter speak to the young men about our cardinal principles: Manhood, Scholarship, Perserverance and Uplift and how we live by these principles every day of our lives.
